In the last day of 2015, theZhengzhou-Xinzheng Airport intercity railway, which was designed and surveyed by CEC, was formal commissioning.

Engaged by the Planning Department of the Ministry of Railway, CEC carried out the design and survey work of this line on March 2009. The construction of this project started on August 2012, the joint debugging and integration test work was carried on 17thOctober, 2015 and the formal commissioning of the whole lien was started on 31thDecember. This line is the third operation intercity line in the Henan Province. 

The length of the Zhengzhou-Xinzheng Airport intercity railway is 39KM. Along this lire, there are five stations including Zhengzhou Railway Station, Zhengzhou east Station, Nancao Station (newly-build), Mengzhuang Station(newly-build) and Xinzheng International Airport Station(newly-build). The design speed of this line is 200KM/H, and the total investment is 4.83Billion Yuan.

The Zhengzhou-Xinzheng Airport intercity railway will consolidate the Zhengzhou, Zhengzhou East and Xinzheng International Airport comprehensive transportation hub. As the key party of the Xinzheng International Airport comprehensive transportation hub, Xinzheng International Airport station will combine construction with the airport comprehensive transportation transfer center. The station is located in the third and fourth underground floors of the transfer center and realizes the seamless-transfer between airport, metro, long distance bus, bus and car. The gross floor area of this station is 52,000 square meter and it is the one of the biggest plane-train multimodal transport intercity railway underground station in Asian. This station is the first operated underground comprehensive transportation hub designed by CEC.
